I'm a health policy doctoral candidate, professor, nationally certified personal fitness trainer, and somatic fitness coach.You’re not broken; you’re just tired.You're tired from doing too much, saying "yes" when you mean "no," exercising because you feel shame about your body, pouring so much of yourself into people who don’t pour back, and trying to outrun the sh*t they put on you.It's no wonder exercise and taking care of your body feels exhausting and overwhelming.It's time to cut that sh*t out. ✂️I work exclusively with Black women who are living with an autoimmune condition, are actively recovering from trauma, and feel called back to fitness and movement as a way to learn to trust their body again—without overextending themselves, performing for others, or pretending it's easy.
